FAQ's
What flavours do you offer?
My most popular flavours include timeless classics: rich vanilla, decadent chocolate, zesty lemon, whimsical white chocolate & raspberry and indulgent salted caramel. These flavours never fail to impress. However, I am always open to exploring new flavours and combinations. If you have a particular flavour in mind or want to get creative for your celebration, I would love to work with you to create a flavour to your taste.
Do you deliver?
Cakes are collected from my home in Sandy, Bedfordshire. Depending on my availability on your required date, I can sometimes accommodate delivery for orders over £120.00 and within a 20 mile radius of SG19. For wedding cakes, I do offer delivery and set up at the venue as standard. Delivery is charged by the mile at a current rate of 60p per mile.
Do you offer allergen and free from cakes?
I currently do not offer allergen-free or specific free-from cakes. My cakes are crafted in my home kitchen where all allergens are present. Because of this I cannot guarantee the absence of allergens in my cakes.
Unless specified, all my cakes contain gluten, butter and eggs.
Can you supply real flowers for my cake?
Real flowers create a natural and romantic feel. While I love the idea of incorporating real flowers into your cake design, I ask that you procure these lovely blooms through your chosen florist. This ensures you can select flowers that complement your overall theme and colour palette, bringing a perfect harmony and continuity to your occasion. I offer to handle the placement of your real flowers directly on your cake at the venue. This service ensures that your cake is beautifully styled in alignment with your other floral decorations.
With the introduction of new legislation by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) in 2024, I am committed to ensuring that your cake is not only beautiful but also safe to enjoy. Previously, any flowers used atop your cake were carefully wrapped at the stems to prevent any toxins from transferring. Now, specific guidelines dictate what types of flowers can safely be used, and I am dedicated to complying with these important standards. This is a list of some (but not limited to) popular flowers that are not recommended to be placed on edible goods; Lilies, Eucalyptus, Mistletoe, Gypsophila, English Yew, Daffodils, Foxglove, Poppy, Rhododendron, Delphiniums, Hydrangea and Ranunculus.
I will always want to liaise with your florist in advance so I can do my own due diligence to ensure the flowers being used are food safe and are handled in a safe way.
As an alternative, I can craft stunning cakes adorned with artificial flowers or elegant sugar paste blooms. These options not only allow for an endless variety of designs but also ensure the flowers will remain as beautiful as your cake throughout the event.
I will work with you to create something truly magical that reflects your style and taste, with or without real flowers!
Do you offer cake tastings?
I understand that selecting the perfect cake is a crucial part of your wedding planning. That’s why I offer a delightful cake tasting box, delivered right to your doorstep. Unlike traditional in-person tastings (which I unable to offer), my cake tasting boxes allow you to try delicious creations in the comfort of your own home. Tasting boxes start from £30.00. Cake tasting boxes includes four exquisite flavours. I tend to feature the crowd favourites: vanilla, chocolate, lemon, and white chocolate & raspberry. However if you have any specific flavour requests as apart of your enquiry, I will do my best to accommodate that request in your tasting box.
Do you supply cake stands?
I do have some cake stands available for hire at an additional cost. The ones I currently have come with a hire fee of £15.00. On top of the hire fee, a security deposit is required. This deposit is fully refundable on return of the stand to me as set out in my terms and conditions.
Many wedding venues have their own cake stands, so it is always worth checking with them if they can provide one for you,
